Program Admission and Requirements
The following admission requirements are based on State of Connecticut Regulations Sec 10-145d-481.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Active Connecticut teaching certification
- Two letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
Candidates interested in earning the 102 Certification in Remedial Reading and Remedial Language Arts will complete the following:

|RLD 0587||Practicum in Tier II Reading and Language Arts Intervention Practices||3|
|RLD 0588||Practicum in Tier III Reading and Language Arts Intervention Practices||3|
Note: Candidates may be eligible to transfer up to 6 credits into their planned program.
